If you like the thrill and expeditions during which you have to fight for survival, Chernobylite will definitely be a must for you. It is a survival horror action adventure game set from the perspective of the first person. The game was prepared by a Polish studio called The Farm 51, which is also responsible for productions such as World War 3 or Get Even.
Chernobylite was released in August 2021 for PC, PS4 and XONE. Chernobylite Download will allow you to test the gameplay, mechanics and other aspects. However, if you are interested in today’s review and want to get to know the game better, read on!
A bit about the basics of the game
The title takes us to Chernobyl, and more precisely to the so-called Exclusion Zones within a nuclear power plant. We play the role of Igor, who is a physicist by profession. During the events related to the explosion of the power plant, our hero’s beloved disappeared without a trace.
Thirty years have passed since then, but Igor never came to terms with his loss. Therefore, our character returns to Chernobyl to find his love. On the spot, it turns out that in the Exclusion Zone there is a mysterious substance, the title chernobylite. Moreover, the army controls the entire area of the nuclear power plant. In-game mechanics and gameplay
Our main task in Chernobylite is to explore the area. We have a number of different locations at our disposal. In order to achieve our goal, we must collect the necessary information, solve various puzzles, and skillfully deal with the dangers awaiting us. These include supernatural things and phenomena that we can both fight and avoid.
Chernobylite Steam Access is the best option thanks to which we will verify all attractive elements. Moreover, supernatural beings, monsters and soldiers are not our only threats. We must carefully observe all our surroundings, which can also be dangerous. It is also worth adding that the entire gameplay is shaped by the decisions of our protagonist. This means that we must be careful about each stage of the game, and we must also carefully decide who we can trust.
Survival elements for the most demanding
The authors of the game also included a number of survival elements in the title. So we have to stockpile and skillfully use the crafting system. Thanks to this, we will be able to prepare the necessary weapons and all equipment necessary to survive and fight the enemy.
We can also constantly improve the equipment we already have. All the knowledge and experience of our hero – physicist and chemist – will definitely be helpful in this. You also have to remember about the dangerous radiation present in the Exclusion Zone, which can negatively affect our character’s health.
Technical issues as another plus of the game
Chernobylite boasts three-dimensional, very realistic graphics. The advanced Unreal Engine 4 is responsible for this. What’s more, the production used a photogrammetry technique called Reality 51. This is related to 3D scanning, thanks to which the world presented in the game and Chernobyl itself have been faithfully reproduced. Of course, the best way to check if the visuals really deserve praise is Chernobylite Steam Access!
As for the game modes, the developers have only prepared a single player mode, which means that we cannot enjoy the game with our friends and other players. Despite this, Chernobylite makes up for the aforementioned graphics, interesting storyline, and a whole range of challenges and tasks to complete.
An interesting fact is that during the preparations for the creation of the title, the developers took a trip to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in order to create the virtual world presented in the game as reliably as possible. All this makes the game, despite the small budget, really fascinating, faithfully reproduced, and Chernobylite Offline Account will allow you to fully discover it.
