We start the game as usual in this series, by creating our sims. However, in this case there are many more modifiers and options to choose from than in the previous section. In more detail, we will be able to customize the appearance of our characters thanks to the visual editor.

We have more options to choose elements such as face shape, height, silhouette or even weight. The character of the sim you create will be equally important as the appearance. The player will be offered a choice of personality traits as well as goals for the future of our character. They are part of an improved artificial intelligence system and they will have a big impact on the subsequent behavior of the sim. They will contribute to more varied responses to situations that arise during the game.

The emotions you feel will be another important change. They will depend on things such as the level of needs met, social interactions or even the clothes our hero wears. By unlocking specific emotions, we will have more dialogue options to choose from.

Then building a house

While playing The Sims 4, we cannot forget about the editor that allows you to build your dream houses and estates. In this part, we will have a choice of two areas in which we will be able to fulfill our architectural whims. The Sims 4 is a single-player game, however, thanks to the use of social options, we will be able to share our residences with other players, as well as comment and evaluate the work of others.

It would seem that the game offers very well so far. However, this is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg. The real game begins when we bring the family home.
