About Crimson Moon
Crimson Moon is a dark fantasy action RPG built around brutal melee combat, supernatural powers and repeatable missions where taking a bigger risk can lead to better rewards. The game takes place in Gildenarch, a once-holy city now overrun by demons, vampires, undead creatures and twisted Hellgrowth abominations. Humanity’s remaining defence is the Order of the Crimson Moon.
You play as a Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid created to fight the forces of Hell. Combat is fast, bloody and deliberately aggressive, combining melee weapons with supernatural abilities and angelic transformations. Temporary Nephilim powers can dramatically change a fight, particularly when you’re surrounded or facing one of the game’s larger bosses.
Crimson Moon also brings roguelike elements into its progression. Completing runs opens new missions, modifiers and skill challenges, while the Church acts as your sanctuary between missions. Here you can interact with characters, prepare at the War Table and work on upgrades before heading back into Gildenarch. Higher difficulty settings offer greater challenges but also better rewards.
