About Silent Hill Townfall
SILENT HILL: Townfall is a first-person psychological horror game that takes the series away from its familiar American setting and into the cold isolation of St. Amelia, a remote Scottish island. You play as Simon Ordell, a man summoned back to the abandoned settlement to put things right, despite having only fragmented memories of what happened there.
A strange pocket television known as the CRTV becomes one of Simon’s most important tools. Mysterious signals, voices and disturbing fragments of the past emerge through its static, gradually revealing what happened to St. Amelia and why Simon has been brought back.
Gameplay combines exploration, tense evasion, limited combat and narrative-driven puzzles. Weapons and resources are deliberately restricted, making encounters with the creatures roaming the island dangerous rather than turning the game into a traditional action shooter. Player decisions also influence the story, with multiple endings determined by actions taken throughout the game.
